International plant-based food brand The No Meat Company, which is a LIVEKINDLY Collective brand, launch new meat-free sausages and Hot & Spicy No Chick Strips, are now available in more than 700 Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores nationwide. At the same time The No Meat Company, which was launched by Iceland in 2018, is rolling out its new contemporary packaging across its entire range.

“We are very excited about the re-branding of the No Meat Company and the new packaging. Great tasting, convenient and affordable plant-based foods are very important to our customers”, says Richard Walker, Managing Director Iceland Foods.

“To us making healthier choices should be simple, especially when swapping out meat for a plant-based alternative. We’re all about fuss-free food, offering staple products that can easily be incorporated into your favourite meals without reaching for a recipe book for inspiration. The new look and feel of No Meat represents exactly that”.

Meat-Free Sausages are made from a blend of pea and wheat proteins, flavoured with herbs and spices, with oyster mushrooms for depth of flavour, The Meat-Free Sausage hits stores just in time for BBQ season. It has a plant-based skin for that extra-real sausagey bite, and it will give you that sear from the pan or BBQ.  RRP: £2.25

Hot and Spicy No Chick Strips is made with pea protein and 100% plant-based, this tantalisingly tasty chicken alternative features plenty of heat – just without the meat.  RRP: £3.00

New pack design

The No Meat Company’s new design and packaging is modern and supports the broad taste appeal of no meat products.

“The meat-free category has exploded in recent years, and a few category design codes have dominated. We have partnered with Sunhouse Creative to balance creating simple yet distinctive brand assets for stand-out with plant-based category signposting for a brand that has been trusted by consumers for years. It’s a modern twist to the reliable and loved brand”, says Neville Tam, Brand Lead at The No Meat Company.

Products in cartons are made from fully recyclable cardboard and are plastic-free. And The No Meat Company are looking to go much further on the sustainability journey in the future with more sustainable packaging coming soon.

New advertising campaign

The new campaign idea “Say YES to NO MEAT” appeals to people who want to make a positive change by making some plant-based switches, but have questions over how much commitment to change they’ll have to make. The campaign goes live out-of-home and digital from the 22nd June 2022.
