We harness the collective wisdom of the founders, who bring more than 30 years expertise in plant-based food. Their passion for our mission and unstoppable drive inspires us all to make plant-based living the new norm!

We started LIVEKINDLY Collective with the simple goal of changing people’s beliefs and habits. Ultimately, we want to transform the broken food system into a sustainable, plant-based one.

Roger Lienhard

Founder LIVEKINDLY Collective

LIVEKINDLY Collective was founded in March 2020 by Roger Lienhard (Blue Horizon Group) on the belief that plant-based alternatives have the power to make the global food system sustainable. Its mission is to make plant-based living the new norm. As a collective of founders, entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the globe, LIVEKINDLY Collective is uniquely positioned to create impact with speed, at scale.

LIVEKINDLY Collective’s approach offers a path forward for transforming the global food industry. Our team has built a new formula for success by bringing innovation, experience, resources, and scale throughout the plant-based chicken value chain. It started with bringing together like-minded founders who share a vision for smarter, sustainable living, and allows the food industry to better align around the evolving values of consumers who are focused on climate change, animal welfare, and human health.

Debbie Fry

Co-Founder Fry’s Family
Food Co.

Our journey to helping you change the world from your kitchen table started with a love for animals and a pioneering spirit to create delicious, plant-based meats. Back when we started in 1991 most people thought we were crazy. “Plants that look and taste like meat, made in your kitchen!?” Okay, maybe we were crazy, but with passion and determination, great things can happen. Now, a few decades on, the fully fledged second generation family business, a larger family (and a few grandchildren), we wanted to bring you some more amazingly good tasting plant-based foods, which will leave you feeling good!

From our kitchen to yours. With love from the Fry Family

Wally Fry

Co-Founder Fry’s Family
Food Co.

Through my personal choices and actions, I can help change the world.

The original idea behind Fry’s was to find a way to make nutritious products for our family who are all passionate about plant-based diets. Back when we started in 1991 most people thought we were crazy. “Plants that look and taste like meat, made in your kitchen!?” Okay, maybe we were crazy, but with passion and determination, great things can happen. Timo Recker

Founder LikeMeat

Timo Recker believed in doubling the pleasure. Making great tasting food that feels good, and does good too. Eating well shouldn’t mean giving up the food and traditions you love. Because it’s easier to enjoy a plant-based lifestyle when it tastes just as good. When everything you eat starts and ends with joy, eating good food becomes a force for change: for you, the planet and our farmyard friends. So pick up your fork, not a placard, and dig in.

Anders Wallerman

Co-Founder Oumph!

When Anders Wallerman, Anders Linden and Anna-Kajsa Lindell created the brand that was going to kill boring in the plant-based category, the name was a no-brainer. The world was craving Oumph!

Anders Linden, a Swedish chef, began experimenting in his restaurants in 1995 with plant-based protein foods. He used the word Oumph! to his staff to describe when a dish needed that extra punch. He kept repeating to his staff the weight of Oumph!. The word became so important to him, he had it tattooed on his hand.

Tammy Fry

Co-Founder Fry’s Family
Food Co.

Tammy Fry was born a vegetarian. Her father, Wally Fry, is a born and bred South African where Zulu was (almost) his first language and meat was very much part of his life. He told Tammy that “to grow up big and strong you need to eat your meat!” After Tammy refused to eat any, Wally and Debbie (another lifelong vegetarian) started making protein alternatives for their own consumption. This eventually lead to Wally becoming vegetarian and was the start of Fry’s Family Foods. Apart from being a vegetarian, Tammy is a mother of two, and has a 5th Dan black belt for karate. Her current role in LIVEKINDLY Collective is Global Marketing Lead Fry’s Family Food Co.

The products they developed were originally for their own consumption to give their family healthy and nutritious meals. Now Hayley, one of the Fry’s family daughters, is active in LIVEKINDLY Collective to continue her parents’ legacy, now feeding your family! Hayley’s role within LIVEKINDLY Collective is Research and Development Director.
